After joining the Undergraduate Neuroscience Society (UNS) at UW-Madison in 2019, I took on an officer role during the pandemic and continued to serve until my graduation. This role allowed me to mentor several students and coordinate meetings and fundraisers for the organization. It was an intellectually stimulating experience, fostering a vibrant community within the Neuroscience department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We successfully brought together professors, graduate students, and research assistants from diverse backgrounds to engage with undergraduates.
